Our Standard Rate vs. Emergency Service Rate

NOTE: Our regular business hours are from 9:00 A.M. through 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.

For Emergency Service outside of our normal business hours, please call our office at (410) 833-4233 for a quicker response.

Work performed outside of normal business hours is billed at the EMERGENCY SERVICE RATE of double the applicable hourly rate.

During weekdays, there is no EMERGENCY SERVICE RATE charged when work is started before 5:00 P.M. If labor passes the 5:00 P.M. hour, any remaining time will be billed as Emergency Service.

The WEEKEND EMERGENCY SERVICE RATE is in effect from 12:01 A.M Saturday through 8:59 A.M Monday.

When charging an hourly rate, including extra work if necessary or on “time and materials” jobs, Main Street Electric will bill the home or business owner for only actual hours worked at the owner’s location.
